Mountainfilm on Tour is coming to Ojai bringing a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.
Multiple shows will be held at the Ventura River Steelhead Preserve located at 9458 Santa Ana Rd. in Ventura from September 23-26, these programs will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
On Friday, September 24 the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy will host Under the Open Sky which includes a farm-to-table dining experience before a Mountainfilm on Tour show held outdoors. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and the show is expected to run until 9:30 p.m. The films showing this evening are unique to the screenings held on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
On the evenings of September 23, 25 and 26 there will be additional, stand-alone Mountainfilm on Tour programs (same collection of films for all three nights). Doors for this show open at 6:30 p.m. and capacity is limited to 125 tickets per night.
