Lake Forest

Mountainfilm on Tour is coming to Lake Forest bringing a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.

Held at the John and Nancy Highes Theater on January 24-25 the shows will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. There will be multiple showings and experiences available to guests over the two day event including: feature films, shorts programs, an outdoor expo and other activities planned around the festival.

Mountainfilm on Tour in Lake Forest is hosted by the Gorton Community Center in partnership with Lake Forest open Lands Association, The Butler Family Foundation, The Community Church of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, The Deer Path Inn.
