Join The Mountaineers and the City Of Bellevue for an evening of inspiring and captivating films handpicked from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. Mountainfilm on Tour - Bellevue is co-sponsored by the Mountaineers and the City of Bellevue Department of Parks and Community Services. Any profits will go to support and fund the city's TRACKS outdoor adventure programs and the Mountaineers Foothills Branch's efforts to make outdoor activities and instruction available to all. This year’s Bellevue Mountainfilm on Tour film program will focus on environmentalism, stewardship, ecology, and activities in and emotional engagements with the outdoors and nature. Titled “Big Green World,” the films focus on subjects such as the Amazon basin, Scotland and Washington State rainforests; Orcas off the coast of Scotland; the polar bears of Churchill, Canada; regenerative farming; kayaking and climbing in the Baffin Islands, and more.
