Tim Horsburgh

Tim Horsburgh is vice president of Nat Geo Doc Films. His work covers the acquisition, production and distribution of feature documentaries such as Time and Water, The Tale of Silyan, and Ghost Elephants, and Oscar® nominees Sugarcane, Bobi Wine: The People’s President and Fire of Love. Horsburgh worked at Kartemquin Films during a period in which the organization received three Oscar® nominations, and won five Emmys and two Peabody Awards. He has taught documentary filmmaking at Northwestern University and at Columbia College Chicago. Horsburgh was born in India, raised in England, and currently lives in Santa Monica, California.
