Shane Davis

Shane Davis is a data-miner, activist, biologist and the founder of, an anti-fracking investigative organization. As a nationally recognized expert data-miner and analyzer of official oil and gas documents, his research has empowered dozens of grassroots organizations that use it for anti-fracking movements and public debates nationwide. Davis has been featured in, and/or technically advised, over a dozen national and international documentaries, including those by Nickelodeon and Showtime, and plays a large role in the collaborative film Dear Governor Hickenlooper (Mountainfilm 2014), which addresses fracking in Colorado. He is an avid hiker, musician, naturalist and a former National Science Foundation Grant recipient.
