Sam Price-Waldman

Sam Price-Waldman is a documentary director and cinematographer from Albuquerque, New Mexico. His short films have earned seven Vimeo Staff Picks and shown on PBS, National Geographic, The Atlantic and film festivals, including AFI Docs, Full Frame, Camden and others. As a cinematographer, his work has been featured on HBO, Showtime, Netflix and other networks. He co-directed the short documentary Wolf Mountain (Mountainfilm 2013). He's also the director of The Life We Have (Mountainfilm 2025). Price-Waldman is known for his empathetic, intimate and often humorous approach to the documentary form.
