Sam Chen
Originally trained in computer science, Sam Chen is a self-taught computer animator who has produced several award-winning animated shorts. His 2003 short Eternal Gaze received numerous awards and was an Academy Award Nomination semifinalist in the Best Animated Short category. He is the Artistic Programmer and a resident filmmaker with the San Diego Asian Film Festival. Prior to making his own films, he worked with Digital Content Group of Silicon Graphics, inc. as a creative director and animator.
