Ryan Scura

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Ryan Scura began crafting films at the age of 12 with his childhood friend Dylan Ladds. The pair went on to found the production company, Dooster, where they made The Granite Stoke (2014), a film about surfers in New Hampshire. Some of Scura’s latest film work includes, Coming Home - Ag Teacht Abhaile (Mountainfilm 2021) and The Lost Tribe of the Wicklow Mountains (Mountainfilm 2021), which he made alongside Dylan Ladds. Based in San Francisco, Scura also works for BAYCAT, a nonprofit video studio, and can often be found running in the Marin Headlands.
