Richard Phelan

Richard Phelan has worked as an animator and storyboard artist on a number of award-winning short films, documentaries and commercials. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in animation from the University of Wolverhampton in Britain, Phelan graduated with a master’s in animation direction from the U.K.’s National Film and Television School in 2011. His animated short Damned tells the story of a busy beaver and his forest friends and explores the concepts of ambition, environmental destruction and redemption.
