Philipp Becker

Philipp Becker grew up surrounded by small hills in central Germany and found his passion for outdoor films through his interest in cycling and skiing at a young age. Today he runs a film studio in Dusseldorf, Germany with a small creative team that shares the goal to produce relatable outdoor adventure stories and tries to approach mountains in a respectful and sustainable way. The latest work Crying Glacier is no exception. Becker has also co-directed Ice & Palms (Mountainfilm 2019), A Few Steps From Home (Mountainfilm 2021) and Crying Glacier (Mountainfilm 2024).
