Philip Henderson

A native of San Diego, Philip Henderson’s career spans three decades, including 21 years with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), six years with Osprey packs and many volunteer hours. Henderson is a mentor and celebrated pioneer in his community, with ascents of Denali and Kilimanjaro. He led a 2012 North Face Nat Geo Everest Expedition and was a 2022 Full Circle Everest Expeditions leader. Now a 10-year resident of Cortez, Colorado, Henderson is the executive director of the nonprofit Full Circle Expeditions, a board member at POW (Protect Our Winters) and The Alzar School in Cascade, Idaho.
