Paweł Wysoczański
Pawe? Wysocza?ski was born in G?ogów, Poland, and graduated from the University of Silesia in Katowice as a student of Krzysztof Kieslowski Faculty of Radio and Television. Wysocza?ski has written and directed several documentary and feature films, including Point of View, Flying Education and We Will Be Happy One Day, which have been recognized at film festivals in Poland and abroad. In addition to his work in film, Wysocza?ski is the author of the photo exhibition “In the Shadow of Sun,” which documents his travels to Ethiopia and Sudan. Jurek (Mountainfilm 2016) documents the life of famous Polish mountaineer Jerzy Kukuczka, who was the second person to climb all 14 eight-thousanders. Jurek won the Grand Prize at the 2015 Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival.
