Nick Goldston

As a professional songwriter and music producer, Nick Goldston has always loved creating an aesthetic and navigating within it. Originally as a way to further intensify the emotional impact of his songs, Goldston began creating visuals to accompany his music. Over the years, that original impulse evolved into its own passion and eventually became a brand new way to create an aesthetic by combining visuals and sounds. Goldston co-directed Controlled Burn (Mountainfilm 2022), following film subject, professional triathlete and co-director Eric Lagerstrom as he explores the forest through the dark and the light of a controlled burn near Bend, Oregon.
