Max Romey

Max Romey is a father, husband and award-winning Alaskan artist and filmmaker who has visually shown the world that anything is possible if you are willing to make that first scary mark. Romey is also dyslexic and reminds people every day it’s ok if you don’t see the world like everyone else; there is room for you! There are no typos or misspellings in art! Additionally, he is the director of Footprints on Katmai (Mountainfilm 2024), My Grandmother's Sketchbook (Mountainfilm 2025) and My Grandmother's Sketchbook | Under Mont Blanc (Mountainfilm 2026).
