Mallory Cunningham

Emmy Award-winning producer Mallory Cunningham has always been drawn to creating films and storytelling. She grew up in Kentucky, picked up a camera at a young age and began making films with friends. While earning her bachelor's degree, Cunningham diversified her skills by filming for the athletic department. After college and living in California, Cunningham began working with John Chester to create short films for the Oprah Winfrey Network, an experience with a small team that honed her talents in producing, assistant editing, camera operating and story collaboration. Ditch the Van (Mountainfilm 2017) is one film of many to come from Malakye Films, founded by Cunningham and her creative partner, Kyle Romanek.
