Leslie Ramos

Leslie Ramos is a documentary filmmaker and storyteller whose work explores the intersections of water, spirituality and our connection to the natural world. Her work is deeply informed by long-term relationships with rural and Indigenous Peoples in the Americas and the lived realities of environmental injustice. Ramos is the director of Alligator Altar(Mountainfilm 2026). She has directed multiple documentaries, including The Path and “The Climate Cure” educational series, and is a contributing writer and photographer for Impact Edition Magazine. Ramos is beginning her master’s degree in documentary filmmaking at the University of Miami, where she continues to develop immersive stories that center sensory experience and the natural world.
