Leo Hoorn

Leo Hoorn is director of The North Face Presents: Trango (Mountainfilm 2025) and an editor, cinematographer and director of photography with the Sherpas. He has contributed to projects filmed in remote locations such as All I Can, The Great Siberian Traverse (Mountainfilm 2016), Tsirku, Loved by All, and most recently, Children of the Columbia (Mountainfilm 2019). In contrast to the aforementioned projects, he has worked on international commercial shoots in the streets of Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sao Paulo and Beirut with world-class brands. These ventures have aided in developing a vast arsenal of shooting tools and backcountry skills for Hoorn to bring to any setting. Hoorn strives to produce powerful images that pack an emotional punch through landscape photography and portraiture throughout his personal, commercial and creative work.
