Kirk Muir Horton
Kirk is a filmmaker based out of Boulder, CO. His passion for storytelling stems from people changing their worlds, however big or small. He likes to make films that make people get all tingly with emotions and feelings, and that's his goal for every piece he works on. His work has taken him around the globe — from Chile to Rwanda and back again — working on productions with the Planet Earth II team, winning awards at film festivals, filming wild animals, and everything in between. He is co-director, along with Simon Perkins, of For the Love of Mary (Mountainfilm 2018), Purpose Built (Mountainfilm 2019) as well as Light Beams For Helena and Meet a Mad Farmer: A-Frame Farm (Mountainfilm 2023).
