Justin DeShields

Documentary filmmaker Justin DeShields travels with National Geographic Explorer to cover topics of worldwide concern. He is also a National Geographic grantee and works closely with scientists and explorers to bring their work to television. DeShields works for National Geographic, PBS, BBC and Vice. He has produced more than 20 episodes and segments around the world for Vice's HBO series, as well as their new channel Viceland. He is the director of Adaptation Bangladesh: Sea Level Rise , featuring Alizé Carrère (Mountainfilm 2017).
