Julia Kwan
Vancouver-based filmmaker Julia Kwan studied film and psychology at Toronto’s Ryerson Polytechnic University. Her first feature film, Eve & The Fire Horse, earned critical acclaim after premiering at The Toronto Film Festival. Kwan’s documentary debut Everything Will Be received a Canadian Screen Award for best cinematography and the Meilleur Espoir at the Montreal International Documentary Festival. Her other work includes the shorts Facing Sunrise (Mountainfilm 2019), Three Sisters on Moon Lake and an animated short drama, The Zoo.
