Jr Rodriguez

Jr Rodriguez is based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he is rewriting the value system in our connection to nature — from city parks to coastlines and everywhere in between — using film, photo and grantmaking to exalt the people and stories that we’ve always known are our true heroes. Rodriguez recently directed Soñadora, a film for immigrants, women, people of color and all of those who fight to exist in spaces that were not made for them. He is also the co-director of Wading for Change (Mountainfilm 2023). Rodriguez is the co-director of Internal Peaks (Mountainfilm 2026), alongside Vanessa Chavarriaga.
