Jim Craven
Born in Manchester and based in Copenhagen, Jim Craven is a filmmaker and photographer whose work often imagines the act of skateboarding outside of its traditional environments and rubrics. Craven’s work has appeared in major publications, including Thrasher and Free Skate Mag, and he has collaborated with brands such as Carhartt WIP, Vans and Element skateboards. Ranging from the raw terrains of Iceland to the teeming cityscapes of Sri Lanka, his other films include Search (2026), Pearls (2019) and Island (2017). Jim is the director of Strata (Mountainfilm 2026).
