Jannat Gargi
Jannat Gargi is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer and creative film executive with 25 years of experience leading content at Westbrook, Vice and Vulcan. She has developed and produced commercially successful, impact-driven films tackling critical issues, including the Academy Award-winning Summer of Soul, three-time Oscar-nominated Flee, Emmy-winning Body Team 12, The Reason I Jump, Step, Lift, Copa 71 and Master of Light. Gargi is a member of the Academy’s Documentary Branch, the Producers Guild of America, and serves on the Board of Directors for Washington FilmWorks and The Redford Center. Born in Punjab, India, Fletcher Street (Mountainfilm 2026), co-directed with David Darg, marks her directorial debut.
