Harrison Mendel

After spending three back-to-back summers on crutches, Harrison Mendel decided to put down his mountain bike and pick up a camera. He quickly found himself chasing light around the globe with some of the world’s top athletes. Fascinated by blending action with story, Mendel strives to bring cinematic style and technique into the outdoors. In his short film Continuum (Mountainfilm 2022), he captures mountain biker Brett Rheeder in a way that exhibits relentless flow and seamless transitions through beautifully banked twists and turns.
