Greg Kohs

Greg Kohs is a 10-time Emmy-winning filmmaker known for his captured-not-contrived storytelling style. His acclaimed documentaries include Song Sung Blue, Blind Faith and The Great Alone (Mountainfilm 2016), which chronicles the comeback journey of cancer survivor and four-time Iditarod champion Lance Mackey. Kohs also directed Cowtown (Mountainfilm 2017) and The Captain (Mountainfilm 2021). Kohs is the director of Oxbow (Mountainfilm 2026). His unique ability to create goosebumps has solidified his status as an elite storyteller. Kohs’ latest documentary, The A-Word, will premiere at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival. His work continues to inspire and captivate audiences globally.
