Griff Washburn (Goth Babe)

Griff Washburn is a filmmaker and musician best known for his project Goth Babe. Originally from Tennessee, he splits his time between touring, living aboard his off-grid sailboat Lola and traveling the West Coast with his dog, Sadie. His work is rooted in a deep connection to the outdoors, blending storytelling with conservation. Washburn is the director of Paddling Under Giants (Mountainfilm 2026). Through his films and music, Washburn supports environmental nonprofits and aims to inspire a more intentional, adventurous way of living. With his company Weekend Friend Productions, he now directs and creates films centered around nature, creativity and connection.
