Eric Lagerstrom

Primarily a world-class professional triathlete, Eric Lagerstrom fell in love with cinematography through snowboard and surf films as a kid, beginning his creative journey on YouTube in 2015. Seeking to share his passion for swimming, biking and running via the medium of video and the emotionally charged style of action films, he is constantly trying to expand the idea of what it means to be a triathlete. He is the co-director of Controlled Burn (Mountainfilm 2022), a film that follows Lagerstrom as he explores the forest through the dark and the light of a controlled burn near Bend, Oregon.
