Edward Drake

Drake is a co-director of The Ascent (Mountainfilm 2026), alongside Scott Veltri and Francis Cronin. The Ascent showcases Mandy Horvath's journey to climb Kilimanjaro. After meeting and being inspired by Mandy’s story, Edward Drake helped plan the trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro and climbed with Mandy to document her journey. Drake is a screenwriter and director based in Los Angeles. His credits include Lionsgate’s KNIGHT trilogy, starring Bruce Willis, Paramount’s GASOLINE ALLEY, and more. Most recently, Drake wrote and directed GUNS UP, starring Kevin James and Christina Ricci.
