Ed Roberson

Ed Roberson is a Colorado-based conservationist and the creator of “Mountain & Prairie,” a top-ranked podcast featuring long-form conversations with people shaping the future of the American West. Since launching in 2016, the show has been recognized by organizations including The Aspen Institute, SXSW, Patagonia, MeatEater and The Nature Conservancy, and was named the top conservation podcast of 2025 and 2026. For more than two decades, Roberson has worked on land, water and conservation issues across the West, including serving as conservation director at Palmer Land Conservancy. He holds degrees from Wake Forest University and is a proud graduate of NOLS. When not incessantly asking people questions, he’s voraciously reading, “running” ultras or getting humbled on the jiu-jitsu mats.
