Ebyan Zanini

As the daughter of Somali and Italian immigrants, even before the age of 7, Ebyan Zanini had set foot on multiple continents. Her early experiences set her on a path focused on social issues. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, a certified yoga instructor and spent two years in rural Hawaii working for Teach for America. Witnessing the cost of war and its effects on her Somali relatives, Zanini is well versed on the topic of post-conflict issues, experience that she brought to her role as producer on the series Conflict, which includes We’re All Complicit (Mountainfilm 2016).
