Drew Smith
An experienced climber, Drew Smith’s career as a photographer and filmmaker has been shaped by his life in the mountains. His penchant for authenticity has led to documenting expeditions near and far, including filming the first free ascent of Riders of the Storm in Patagonia, and capturing still photos for films Trango (Mountainfilm 2025) and Earthside (Mountainfilm 2025). Making his directorial debut, in a production co-directed by Ben Knight, Drew is honored to return to Mountainfilm with the world premiere screening of Teeth to the Wind (Mountainfilm 2026).
