Dorian Warneck

Dorian Warneck is a Berlin-born filmmaker who grew up in South Carolina and is now based in Portland, Oregon. Warneck made his directorial debut in 2015 with feature documentary The Color of Fire, a film about his father’s experience joining the German Army during WWII at the age of 15. The film earned Warneck The People’s Grit award at Indie Grits Film Festival. In 2017 he launched production company Person People, which focuses on exposing the viewer to some sort of strong emotion or new experience. Using honest, cinematic storytelling, Warneck and his crew are deeply invested in helping brands and organizations connect with the public in a raw and moving way. He is the director of the short film Collapsing Time (Mountainfilm 2019).
