Dasha Levin

Dasha Levin is an award-winning Mexican-American documentary filmmaker from San Diego, California. A graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, his work has been shown internationally, featured on PBS, and earned honors at several Academy Award–qualifying festivals, including the Best Student Documentary in the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival. Levin is the director of Handwoven (Mountainfilm 2026), alongside co-directors Mason Cazalet, Mihika Das and Matthew Wisdom.
