Christopher Auchter
Christopher Auchter is a Haida animator and illustrator whose work includes illustrations for three children’s books. His animated short, The Mountain of SGaana (2017) won the Best Animation for Young Audiences award at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, and the Golden Sheaf Award for best Indigenous production at the Yorkton Film Festival. The debut of Now Is the Time (Mountainfilm 2021) in Telluride, follows the film’s premiere at Sundance Film Festival and a Canadian Film Award nod.
