Chris Woods
Chris Woods’ career has spanned over four decades. As a director and cinematographer, he has helmed more than 500 national and international commercial campaigns across lifestyle, sports and people themes. He has also led second-unit direction and cinematography on motion pictures including Forrest Gump, Michael, The Sum of All Fears, Elf, The Core, Priest and The Christmas Chronicles. Woods is known for his award-winning documentary work: his film To What Remains had its worldwide premiere at AFI Fest and was released in 2022, and he directed Mountain Joy (Mountainfilm 2025).
