Beth Gage

Beth Gage is a documentary filmmaker based in Telluride, Colorado, and part of Gage & Gage Productions with George Gage. Since 1993, Beth and George have co-produced and co-directed compelling personal films that inspire viewers, initiate dialogue and prompt action on crucial issues. Concentrating on human rights, the environment and social justice, they produce films on subjects underrepresented in the media. Beth creates the story; George is the films’ main cinematographer. Beth and George Gage are the co-directors of InVINCEble (Mountainfilm 2026). Their films have won dozens of awards at national and international film festivals and have been distributed theatrically, on television, educationally, for DVD and streaming. Their first documentary, Fire on the Mountain (Mountainfilm 1995), premiered at Mountainfilm, where it won the Grand Prize. Since then, Gage & Gage Productions has premiered 11 documentaries at Mountainfilm, including Kickass Katie Lee (Mountainfilm 2016), A Home Called Nebraska (Mountainfilm 2020), The Children Will Lead the Way (Mountainfilm 2022) and, most recently, Bread Bike (Mountainfilm 2023).
