Ashley Brandon

Ashley Brandon is a writer/director from Defiance, Ohio. Her short films have screened at Sundance, SXSW and Fantastic Fest. Her projects have been distributed by Disney+ and featured on Bloody Disgusting’s Bloody Bites series. Brandon directed Día de la Madre (Mountainfilm 2020), a short film that follows a group of young mariachis as they travel from home to home, surprising their mothers with a Mother’s Day serenade. She is also the director of Panther Pat (Mountainfilm 2026). Brandon has received support from Mountainfilm, ESPN, the Tribeca Film Institute, the Adrienne Shelly Foundation and Rooftop Films.
