Alex Pritz

Alex Pritz is a documentary filmmaker based in New York and Nairobi. He is co-owner in the production company Documist and recently worked as a cinematographer and field producer on Jon Kasbe's feature documentary When Lambs Become Lions (Mountainfilm 2018). Trained in Wilderness First Aid and hostile environments/kidnapping, Alex has filmed in Kenya, Somalia, Iraq, South Sudan, Liberia, Burundi, Haiti and many often difficult-to-reach locations. Together with Noam Argov he co-directed the short film My Dear Kyrgyzstan (Mountainfilm 2019). In 2022, Pritz directed his first feature film The Territory (Mountainfilm 2022).
