Alan Domínguez

Alan Domínguez, a Chicanx border crosser since birth, is Denver-based with Nuevo Mexicano roots. His films have addressed many subjects, the gravitational point being the unique cultural fabric and social landscapes of the Southwestern United States. Domínguez is the director of Mujer Santuario (Sanctuary Woman) (Mountainfilm 2026). A Sundance Producers Lab Fellow and Sundance Latine Fellow, he is also a Sundance Producers Intensive fellow, Big Sky Pitch participant and a Tribeca Creator’s Market participant. Dominguez’s films have received support from American Masters, Firelight Media, MacArthur Foundation, PBS, National Association of Latino Independent Producers, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, World Channel, Latino Public Broadcasting and History Colorado.
