Abigail E. Disney
Abigail E. Disney is an Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker, activist and host of the podcast “All Ears” where she interviews bold thinkers on America’s inequality and race crises. She is the president of Fork Films, chair and co-founder of Level Forward and founder of Peace is Loud and the Daphne Foundation. Disney produced the film Pray the Devil Back to Hell, winning Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008, in addition to her film The Armor of Light winning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Social Issue Documentary. In The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales (Mountainfilm 2022), co-directed with Kathleen Hughes, the two grapple with America’s profound inequality crisis and what she learns about racism, corporate power and the American dream is eye-opening, unexpected and inspiring.
