Photography Contest: Grand Prize Winner

Mountainfilm is dedicated to educating and inspiring audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations worth sustaining. We got to wondering what our mission statement conveys to others, so in February, we asked you to submit your photos for the chance to win a VIP Mountainfilm Festival package. The number, range, and beauty of the photos submitted was beyond impressive - in fact, the photos were so impressive we couldn't choose a winner ourselves, so we asked for your help. Thanks to all of you, two winners have been chosen!Congratulations to David Roberston, whose photograph, Osprey Fishing, is the Grand Prize Winner of our contest. We're excited to congratulate David in person at Mountainfilm in just a few weeks.Props also go to Olli Kanerva for Night in Hammaskaira - though his photo was the favorite, he's unable to attend the festival as he lives in Finland and chose not to put the strain on the environment for such a short trip.Thanks again to everyone who submitted photos - we hope to see you at Mountainfilm this Memorial Day Weekend!
