Photo Inspiration: Denali Summit Ridge

Denali Summit

As part of our photo contest, we’re featuring some of our favorites here on the blog. Every week we’ll be bringing you another photo that in one way or another reflects our mission statement: educating and inspiring audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations worth sustaining.

We had a bit of synchronicity today - prior to selecting a photo for this week's blog post, we read an article from Outside Magazine about a 13-year old who plans to summit Mt. Everest in May. If he is successful, he will become the youngest person to have climbed the Seven Summits. Mt. Everest and Vinson Massif (in Antarctica) are the two remaining mountains he has yet to conquer, meaning he's already stood atop Denali, in more or less the same place the photographer who took today's featured image was standing. Here's to adventure, no matter how old (or young) you might be!

For your chance to be featured on The Conversation and possibly winning free gear and a VIP Festival Package, please submit your photo. More details here.
