Telluride, Colorado (April 19, 2022) – The 2022 Mountainfilm festival is now accepting applications for media accreditation from recognized media outlets for its 44th edition. Mountainfilm is proud to be offering a curated selection of more than 120 films including 80+ World, North American, U.S. and Colorado premieres.

Additional featured special guests include author Cheryl Strayed, director Tom Shadyac, Native activist Len Necefer, surf legend Gerry Lopez, career documentary director Stacy Peralta, internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi, and world-class athletes from The North Face team, including Conrad Anker, Renan Ozturk and Jess Kimura, along with over 200 filmmakers, speakers and special guests.
This year, Mountainfilm will present 8 film awards and $19500 in cash awards. All feature films will be eligible for the Audience Choice award, a $5000 cash prize.
