Overview

In the war-torn Central African Republic, circa 2013, a young couple, Julius and Claire, struggle to start a family. After his brother is killed by Muslim Seleka rebels, Julius joins an anti-Seleka group. Violence begets more violence, and for the civilians caught in the crossfire there’s no obvious strategy for survival. This heart-rending dramatization is a true story based on interviews conducted in the Central African Republic.
