When a fire destroys a beloved community bookstore, its hyper-independent owner, Lucy, is forced to do the very thing she was taught not to do: Ask for help. In doing so, Lucy grapples with her ingrained belief that we can only rely on ourselves to survive. The overwhelming support forces her to realize that community is necessary for our survival.
