Overview

Underwater photographer Amos Nachoum is fascinated with the most dangerous creatures on Earth. He’s swam with crocodiles, killer whales, anacondas and great white sharks — but one creature evades him: the polar bear. Now, at the age of 65, he’s intent on making his dream of swimming underwater with a polar bear, and capturing it face-to-face on film, a reality. As he prepares to head to the Canadian Arctic alongside Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Adam Ravetch, he contemplates events in his life and the factors that led him to this moment in time. A survivor of child abuse and war, he overcomes his past, finding redemption and peace in the underwater world.
