The Supreme Court in Norway has ruled that a wind farm in a reindeer grazing area violates the Sámi people’s rights, yet the wind turbines remain in place. With the land turned into an industrial area, Indigenous reindeer herders are forced to move, leaving behind customs, traditions and knowledge. In response, young Sámi activists protest in Oslo to compel the government to take action.
