Overview
Living on the edge of the Amazon, Maria’s life is tied to the forest. She cut it down to grow coca as the drug trade and conflict gripped Colombia, but now she is restoring the forest she once cleared. After the Silence explores deforestation as a means of survival and a means of finding a way back to nature.
