The Evolving Relationship Between Brands, Filmmakers and Story
Behind every ski porn video and life-changing film is a subject and a story. Finding that story and telling it in a compelling way is the job of a filmmaker, while brands share these stories as a way to define their mission and inspire their followers. This all makes for a complicated web of relationships that Anya Miller Berg has mastered over the years. She works as the director of brand and creative strategy for Duct Tape Then Beer, a company that partners with brands and nonprofits to encourage the connection between people and the outdoors. In this mini-workshop, Berg along with Dr. Len Necefer and Euan Fraser, will speak to the relationships between filmmakers, brands, stories and subjects, and share how to spread a passion for the outdoors through film.
