Rebecca Barfoot
Colorado artist Rebecca Barfoot’s work combines ceramics, printmaking and painting in a contemporary fusion of modern and vintage. Barfoot teaches nationally and has received awards for her innovative works in multiple media. A fellow of Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark, she was a ceramics resident at Women's Studio Workshop in New York and has received multiple painting fellowships at Anderson Ranch Art Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Her work has been featured at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Woman Made Gallery in Chicago, BoxHeart Gallery in Pittsburgh and internationally in Denmark and Norway. Most recently, Barfoot was an artist in residence at the Upernavik Museum in Greenland’s Arctic Circle.
